The Zahra Foundation was pleased to be able to support the #March4Hannah rally that was held on Parliament House steps on 4 March 2020. The murder of Hannah and her children triggered another national dialogue around domestic and family violence – how many times do we need to have these conversations?

The Zahra Foundation would like to say thank you to the White Ribbon Breakfast Committee for the recent donation from the sale of the Port Adelaide Football Club ‘White Ribbon’ caps which were sold at the breakfast in November 2019. The funds provided will continue the valuable work of the Zahra Foundation in providing support and services to women and children affected by domestic and family violence.

The staff of the Zahra Foundation were privileged to welcome members from IMPACT 100 to our Open House. IMPACT 100 provided an initial grant that supported the Zahra Foundation to formally expand their services to support women and their families who have been affected by domestic and family violence.

The sponsorship will enable to 4km run/walk to be one of Zahra Foundations major fund raising events this year where as a community we will be able to reflect and pay recognition on the 10th anniversary of the tragic death of a brave woman Zahra Abrahimzadeh in March 2010.

Zahra Foundation was pleased that Arman Abrahimzadeh OAM was able to come and open the ‘Cave’ and celebrate festive cheer with clients who came to enjoy cafe style morning tea, share their experiences over the last 12 months and have fun.

Zahra Foundation is please to announce a partnership with Zonta Club of Adelaide Flinders to provide hands-on cooking classes to provide women with easy and tasty nutritious meals that fit within a budget.
