Zahra Foundation Australia Grants Program
At Zahra Foundation, we offer a variety of grants to support women and female-identifying individuals impacted by domestic and family violence.
Our grants are available to women that are participating in our Financial Counselling program.
They provide financial assistance to help overcome barriers related to education, employment, and housing stability. We aim to empower women to rebuild their lives without the fear of falling into extreme poverty or homelessness.
Opportunity Knox Grants
Opportunity Knox is a small grants program for women living in South Australia and connected with a partner organisation. This grant is supported by SA Power Networks and is designed to support women experiencing financial hardship as a result of domestic abuse. These grants can be used to cover expenses related to gaining or sustaining employment and education. Examples of how Opportunity Knox grants can help include:
Purchasing school uniforms for children
Buying a laptop for study purposes
Paying for exam fees or educational courses
Covering the cost of a first-aid certificate or other qualifications to re-enter the workforce
Eligibility:
Opportunity Knox Grants are only available through referrals from one of our partner services.
Wyatt Capacity Grants
