Grants
Zahra Foundation Australia Grants Program
At Zahra Foundation, we offer a variety of grants to support women and female-identifying individuals impacted by domestic and family violence. Our grants provide financial assistance to help overcome barriers related to education, employment, and housing stability. We aim to empower women to rebuild their lives without the fear of falling into extreme poverty or homelessness.
Opportunity Knox Grants
Opportunity Knox is a small grants program designed to support women experiencing financial hardship as a result of domestic abuse. These grants can be used to cover expenses related to gaining or sustaining employment and education. Examples of how Opportunity Knox grants can help include:
Purchasing school uniforms for children
Buying a laptop for study purposes
Paying for exam fees or educational courses
Covering the cost of a first-aid certificate or other qualifications to re-enter the workforce
Wyatt Direct Grants
Wyatt Direct Grants are available in partnership with the Wyatt Trust and provide financial relief for individuals facing urgent financial or housing needs that cannot be met by other means. These grants help reduce financial stress, allowing recipients to focus on long-term solutions and address more complex challenges contributing to financial hardship.
Direct Grants are only available through referrals from nominated Financial Counselling or Housing services across South Australia. If you are connected with a Homelessness Case Manager or Financial Counsellor from one of our partner services, they can discuss your eligibility and support you with the application process.
